Mide Funmi Martins is a Nigerian actress, producer and director, her mother is the late Nigerian veteran actress, Funmi Martins.
Mide Martins, the action woman was born on the 12th of April, 1979 in Lagos State, Southwestern part of Nigeria.

The mother of Mide Funmi Martins is Funmi Oguntomi Martins. She was born in September in Ilesa, Osun State, Southwestern part of Nigeria.
Funmi spent her early life in Lagos and Ibadan, She then stayed fully in Lagos where she decided to pursue her acting career.
In 1993, Funmi ventured fully into acting after quitting her modelling which she was into before. In the same 1993, she featured in her first move titled Nemesis which was detected by Fidelis Duker. Some of the notable moves she featured include

Funmi Martins Death
On May 6, 2002, Mide Martins’s mother passed away at 38 at the Oshuntuyi Medical Hospital in Lagos. According to the medical reports, her sudden death was caused by cardiac arrest, which happened because of her rheumatic heart disease
Two weeks before her death, Funmi was a movie, “Aduro Ti Oluwa”
A day before her death which was on May 5, 2002, the actress began to feel ill while at her Iju-Ishaga residence in Lagos. She complained of dizziness all of a sudden and was immediately rushed to a hospital in Iju.
After some time, she regained her normalcy and was even able to breastfeed her youngest child whom she was breastfeeding then. Then, then the second, the unfortunate incident happened.
