Remilekun Oshodi better recognised as Remi Surutu is a veteran Nollywood Yoruba actress and entrepreneur, she has a granddaughter named Ayo.
She was born on the 19th of May, 1969 in Ondo State, Southwestern part of Nigeria. She entered the Yoruba movie industry in 1985 and majored in Yoruba movies only.
Her first role was in the television series ‘ Village Headmaster’. She became famous when she starred as a lead character in the movie ‘Surutu’ produced by Folabi Ogunjobi.
She is the CEO of Everbluee Music Studio. She is also the CEO and owner of RS Skin Supplement store. She is happily married with her kids.
Remi Surutu Granddaughter
Remi Surutu became a grandmother on the 21st of May, 2021. Her only surviving daughter, Mobiola gave birth to a baby child. Remi Surutu was overwhelmed by the newborn baby news because the baby is a carbon copy of her late first daughter.
Remi Surutu took her Instagram to celebrate her grandchild’s first birthday on the 21st of May, 2022. Her grandchild’s name is Ayo Abakale.
She refers to the child as her joy, her bestie, her everything because she filled the space her late daughter left. Below is her caption on her Instagram handle;
