Iyabo Ojo Early Life

She hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State and was born into a family of five. Her mother is Olubunmi Fetuga and her father, Adekunle Ogunro.

Iyabo Ojo attended the National College at Gbagada. She then proceeded to Lagos State Polytechnic where she bagged a diploma in Estate Management.

Iyabo acting journey started from childhood as she was involved in drama right from a tender age. Back in her secondary days, she was a member of the drama group and that had prepared her fully for acting as she officially joined the entertainment industry after finishing her secondary school.

In 1998, Iyabo joined the movie industry and registered with the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) through a renowned actress, Bimbo Akintola who was her mentor.

The same year, she made a debut in an English-language film, Satanic (1998). Then, in 2002 she debuted in the Yoruba-language film Baba Darijiwon (2002).
