1. Murphy Afolabi
Murphy Afolabi is another actor whose death shocked many people. He was born on May 5, 1974, in Osogbo, and passed away on May 14, 2023, at the age of 49 in Ikorodu.
He reportedly had a fall in the bathroom of his house in Ikorodu, Lagos, because of which he had a head injury.
2. SIsi Qaudri
Yoruba Nollywood actor, Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, popularly known as Sisi Quadri, died on March 1, at the age of 44, according to The PUNCH
Oyebamiji celebrated his 44th birthday on December 25, 2023, his death was announced by some of his colleagues in the movie industry.
3. Sir K Kamoru
Another actor who is late is Kamoru Adebayo, popularly known as Sir K Kamoru. He is the father of popular skit maker Isbae U. He passed away on December 27, 2022.
4. Olofa Ina
Veteran Yoruba actor Deji Aderemi, popularly known as Olofa Ina, died on Thursday, January 4. He died at the age of 73.
According to reports, the thespian died of cancer in Lagos State.
5. Iyabo Oko
Sidikat Odunkanwi, professionally known as Iyabo Oko, was a Nigerian film actress. She was born on November 15, 1960, in Iwo, and passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 62.
6. Dejo Tunfulu
The recent death that shocked many artists and lovers of Yoruba Nollywood was the death of Kunle Adetokunbo, popularly known as Dejo Tunfulu. He died on the 1st of April, 2022.
7. Toyin Majekodunmi
Toyin Majekodunmi, popularly known as Iya Kike, was a veteran Yoruba movie actress and producer, she passed away on the 2nd of January, 2017.
8. Rechel Oniga
Rachel died on Friday, 30th of July, 2021 at the age of 64. She was born on 23 May 1957 in Ebute Metta, Lagos State.
9. Henrietta Kosoko
Henrietta died on Monday, 6th of June, 2016 after suffering from diabetes. She left 4 children behind, they are Taiwo Olowu, Kehinde Olowu, Muyiwa Kosoko and Temilade Kosoko.
10. Pa Kasumu
Olukayode Odumosu popularly known as Pa Kasumu died in Lagos on March 1, 2020, at the age of 67 after an illness. He was born on March 16, 1953, in Oyo State.
11. Bisi Komolafe
Bisi died on the 31st of December 2012 at the University College Hospital in Ibadan. She died of pregnancy-related complications after giving birth. Bisi was born in 1986 in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital.

Gbolagade Akinpelu, popularly known as Ogun Majek died on Thursday, 25th of June 2020 at his Imalefalafia, Oke-Ado, Ibadan home.

14. Dagunro
Fasasi Olabankewin, popularly known as Dagunro died on the 13th of June 2019. He was buried in Osogbo, the Osun state capital.
15. Olumide Bakare
Olumide Bakare died on the 22nd of April, 2017, in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital due to a heart and lung disease, he suffered a cardiac arrest. He was born on the 26th of November 1953 in Ibadan, Oyo State, Southwest Nigeria.
16. Pastor Ajidara
Adesina Adesanya, popularly known as Pastor Ajidara died of a kidney ailment on May 7, 2017, at a private hospital in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.
He was buried on May 26, 2017, in his private residence in Abeokuta. Ajidara was born in 1953 in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.
17. Ahmed Alasari
Ishola Durojaiye popularly known as Ahmed Alasari died on Sunday, March 10, 2011, and was buried on March 15 in his town, Ita Elega which is in Abeokuta.

Moji died on the 17th of May 2017 in Canada. She died after giving birth to her second child. Moji was buried on 7 June 2017 at the Ikoyi Cemetery, Lagos. She was born on the 27th of February, 1975 in Nigeria.

Adebayo Faleti died on the 23rd of July 2017, in Ibadan, Oyo State capital. He was born on the 26th of December 1921 in Oyo town.
20. Folake Aremu (Orisabunmi)
Folake Aremu also known as Orisabunmi died at the age of 60 at her home in Ibadan, Oyo state.
