Tunde Owokoniran is a Nollywood actor and producer born in the Mushin area of Lagos and hails from Ogun State.

Tunde Owokoniran Early life

Tunde is from a polygamous home. He lost his mother at a tender age, his father couldn’t sponsor his education, he had to stop schooling after he graduated from secondary school.

Having dropped out of school, Tunde was in need of a job to sustain him. Luckily for him, he joined the National Union Of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Ojuelegba and became a conductor for a bus driver.

As a conductor, Tunde could only get food for himself, he wasn’t able to get an apartment. He slept under a bridge in Lagos.

Eventually, Tunde left being a bus conductor and became a trader. He sold plantain in retails until his acting career began.

Tunde Owokoniran attended Mainland Children School for his primary education and attended Ijebu College for his secondary school education.

He proceeded to the Lagos state university where he studied Industrial Relations and Personnel Management. He graduated from the University in 2010.

Tunde Owokoniran acting career began when he met with popular Yoruba actor Odunlade Adekola, while he was anchoring a meeting at the marketplace where Tunde always sells plantain. Tunde told Odunlade his dream of becoming a Nollywood actor.

Odunlade Adekola gave him a role to play in one of his movies which he acted wonderfully and since then, Tunde has been improving in his acting career.

He is one of the Sought after actors in the Nollywood movie industry. He acts in both English and Yoruba movies.
