A brilliant Nigerian mathematician, Tobi George-Oyediran, with a bachelor’s degree of 4.91/5.00, has now earned her master’s degree at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom.

Tobi achieved an outstanding first-class honours degree of 4.91/5.00 in Mathematics from Babcock University, Ogun State, Nigeria.

She continued her academic journey at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, earning a master’s in Computational Mathematics. Tobi celebrated this accomplishment on her LinkedIn profile.

”I’m so proud to share that I have graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Master’s degree in Financial and Computational Mathematics,” she shared.

During her one-year tenure at the University of Nottingham, Tobi actively contributed by serving on the Knowledge Exchange Committee and acting as the postgraduate student representative for the Faculty of Science.

She highlighted her participation in various student programs and events alongside prestigious companies such as Deloitte, McKinsey & Company, Wise, Glencore, AmplifyME, Goldman Sachs, and Infyos.

Expressing gratitude to the wonderful individuals she encountered during her university journey, Tobi looks ahead to applying her newly acquired knowledge in her role as a Quantitative Trading Analyst at STX Group.
