The groom and family of a new bride have received in trauma the shocking news of her demise four days after her wedding in Benue State.
The deceased, Ate Joy Veronica, who is 31-years-old got married to Irabor Samuel.
The couple had their traditional and court weddings on the 25th and 26th of June with lots of excitement and celebrations.
According to Yabaleftonline.com, the deceased was aid to rest in her hometown, Mbarikyor Wadoor in Gwer Local Government Area of Benue state, on July 10.
Sachet water seller; Mary Daniel, who happens to be an amputee, has purchased a house worth N17.5 million naira in Lagos.
The 27-year old lady bought a house located in the Igando area of Lagos.
She also set up a pure water factory in the house compound, which she named the brand Mary Daniel.
According to The Punch, Mary got money from what she was gifted when she became famous due to her amputee situation.
Part of her gifts was the sum of N1M donated by ex-Gov. Rochas Okorocha’s son-in-law, Uche Nwosu, and a total sum of about N24M from other donors.

Nigerian author and public speaker, Reno Omokri has advised men to work on discovering themselves before they consider settling down with a woman.
The ex-presidential aide who dashed to his Instagram page said that men without vision shout desist from going after women.
However, he advised men not to settle down because of urges even when not financially fit as they will find it hard to take care of their partners’ unending needs.

A Nigerian lady, Queen Precy has complained bitterly about the unending increase in the cost of food items as she revealed that she bought a loaf of bread for N5500.
The lady disclosed that she newly thought it was a mistake, then she decided to go back to the shop, to her surprise, they confirmed to her that the actual cost is 5500.

According to Islam that she practices, a man is permitted to marry more than one wife but must not exceed four.

Veteran Nigerian singer and songwriter, Lanre Fasasi, also known as Sound Sultan, has died of throat cancer.
The 44 years old rapper, gave up after years of battling with cancer of the throat.
He is survived by his wife, three children and siblings.
A medical doctor, Dr. Kayode Fasasi, who is also a member of the family member made this sad disclosure

“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our multitalented veteran singer, rapper, songwriter Olanrewaju Fasasi aka Sound Sultan.
“He passed away at the age of 44 following a hard-fought battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.
“He is survived by his wife, three children and his siblings. We, his family, will appreciate the utmost privacy as we come to grips with this tragic loss.”
The University of Lagos convocated about 30 first class students among the Graduating members of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, Unlag branch.
The formal chairman of the MSSN UNILAG EMSS Freshers’ Orientation Programme for the 2018/19 session, Alimi Adedeji, was the best graduating student with 5.98GP.
Others are Hassan Salaudeen who was the MSSN UNILAG Amir (President) and Labeebah Damilola Dhikrullah, daughter of a popular Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dhikrullah Shafi’i.
The first-class Muslim students also include sensational ewi reciter and the head of Yoruba Unit at MSSN Lagos Information Department, Adebayo Ọlabode; and Sherifat Omosholape Oshoala, a relative of Nigeria’s Super Falcons captain and Barcelona attacker, Asisat Oshoala.
Others are Ojo Ademola Dawud (Accounting), Bakare Mubarak Oluwatosin (Geophysics), Muhammad Mustapha Abiola (Metallurgical and Materials Engineering), Yusuf Odunayo Iyabo (Finance) and Oluwatobi Quadri Raji (Petroleum and Gas Engineering).

According to The Tribune Online, the best graduating student, Alimi Adedeji, explained that MSSN UNILAG programmes and orientation assisted him in the achievement of his goal of graduating with a first class.
He said: “What I really like about MSSN was that its members are very supportive and they are doing very well in their academics. After the first semester in year one, the Society organised a programme – I can’t remember the name now – where they gave out N5,000 to those who made a 5.0 GP and they were always inviting me to programmes to inspire other people. And for you to inspire others, you have to be on top of your game. MSSN, UNILAG branch, regularly organises success dua during examinations which I never miss because one has to put Allah first at all times.
