Nigerian actress and singer, Stella Damasus has told Nigerians corrected Nigerians over their wrong spelling and pronunciation of her name.

Taking to her Twitter account, she said her name is Damasus instead of Damascus that many Nigerians are used while growing up.

The actress who expected Nigerians to react to her correction gave an idea of what Nigerians reaction could be; she wrote; “perish that idea”

Her correction didn’t go down without Netizens reactions, they wondered why she waited this time to make a correction of what they were used to for so long.
