Alapini Osa began acting in 1977, he was a street jester before he ventured into acting. He was doing that with some members of his group who paraded themselves and entertained people at social functions.
He was part of a group that included about six people. Upon the death of one of the members of this group, Alapini Osa left for Arabic school. Later on, in 1979, he formed a group of his own.
The group did not last long. A year later, it was disbanded. Alapini Osa went to train with the famous Akin Ogungbe and eventually under Ray Eyiwunmi. Both of these veterans are dead.
