Ademola Lookman Olajade Alade Aylola is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for Serie A club Atalanta born on the 20th of October, 1997 in Wandsworth, London, United Kingdom.

According to Wikipedia, Ademola plays for the Nigeria national team. Lookman made his senior debut in 2015, playing as a forward for Charlton Athletic of the Championship.


Ademola Lookman was Born in Wandsworth, England on the 20th of October, 1997 to Nigerian Parents. The Player was Raised in England and attended St Thomas the Apostle College in Peckham.

 Ademola Lookman’s Nigerian Origin can be traced back to the People of the Western Part of Nigeria Commonly known as the Yorubas. The Name Ademola Lookman (Originally Lukman) is associated with the Yoruba People of Nigeria. 


Lookman began his Football Career as Early as 10 years old when he played for the Amateur football side, Waterloo Sports and football club in the United Kingdom. The Youngster Spent 5 years with Waterloo FC from 2008-2013  before  Joining Charlton Athletic Academy Aged 15.

As a Teenager in Charlton Academy, Ademola Lookman Impressed at the U-18 and U-21 before making his Senior Debut for the Addicks in 2015 where he bagged 12 goals and 3 assists in 49 appearances in 2 years at the club.

On the 5th of January, 2017, Everton Announced the Capturing of Lookman from Charlton Athletic for an undisclosed fee. 

During his time at Everton, Ademola Lookman was sent out on Loan to German Bundesliga side, RB Leipzig but managed 48 games for Everton, Scoring 4 goals including a Debut goal in the 4-0 trashing of Manchester United.

At Leipzig, Ademola Lookman Replicated his Feat at Everton, Scoring Yet another Debut goal and this time against Borussia Monchengladbach. In 24 appearances, Lookma bagged  5 goals and 4 assists for Leipzig. His impressive Performance for Leipzig ensured that he got rewarded with a five-year deal with the club.

In 2020, Ademola Lookman Joined Fulham on-loan from RB Leipzig. He featured 35 times for the club, Contributing to 8 goals ( 4 goals and 4 assists).

Lookman continued his football adventure as he joined Leicester City on the 31st of August 2021, on loan from his Mother club, RB Leipzig


Lookman rose from the Ranks of the English National team, Playing for England at the U-19, U-20 and U-21 Levels. He was also part of the 2017 England U-20 Team that defeated Venezuela at the final of the FIFA U-20 World Cup. Lookman bagged 3 goals in the Tournament.

Due to his Nigerian Parents, Lookman is eligible to Feature for Both the Three Lons of England and the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the Senior Level.

In 2017, the player passed the Opportunity to Feature for Nigeria after he was approached by the then coach of the Nigerian National team, Gernot Rohr.

Ademola Lookman Eventually switched allegiance to the Nigerian Super Eagles in February 2022, after turning down the Nation’s Approach on several occasions and Hoping to get a chance with the Senior English National team. ‘

Lookman made his Debut for Nigeria in the 0-0 draw against Ghana, a game which ended Nigeria’s Dream of Playing at the World Cup in Qatar 2022.

Lookman Scored his First Goal for Nigeria in the 10-0 trashing of Sao Tome and Principe in the AFCON 2023 Qualifying Campaign.
