Embattled Nollywood actor, James Omiyinka also known as Baba Ijesha, has finally been arraigned at the Magistrate Court 1 Yaba, on Wednesday, June 16th.
The actor who was captured on camera molesting 14-year-old foster daughter of comedienne, Princess’ appeared in court for the first time on Wednesday morning.

A fresh graduate of the Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Ella Williams, has been killed by suspected herdsmen along the Benin-Ekpoma expressway.
The report has it that Ella was on a journey from Benin City to Ekpoma when the killers opened fire on the vehicle killing her immediately while other passengers were kidnapped.
A Facebook user, Asomba Andrew Egbuonu confirmed the incident on his page on Monday.
“I received the devastating news of the demise of a young lady and a promising future of the Nigerian nation, Miss Ella Williams, in the hands of bloodthirsty and heartless Herdsmen on the Benin – Ekpoma Road in Edo State”
Miss Williams who has just graduated with a Masters in Architecture from Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, was said to have traveled from her Benin base to pick up her Call-up. She never made it back as her vehicle was attacked by murderous marauders who ambushed vehicles by opening fire on them with their small arms (aka AK47 Assault guns) killing her on the spot.
What a country where human lives have no value, especially to these emotion-less invaders. All over Nigeria, criminals and kidnappers plan and find ways of stopping vehicle before kidnappings their victims. This appears to be too much work for these roaming marauders who prefer to use their bullets indiscriminately to stop vehicles on highways, killing the drivers and any other unfortunate passengers, before kidnapping the leftover survivors and herding them into our vast ungoverned bushes and forests.
That this modus operandi has been used repeatedly with almost no consequence for these criminals is unacceptable. The Nigerian Government under the watch of our President cannot continue to claim helplessness and reign as Nigeria’s best are wasted all over Nigeria.
Where is the great and valiant Nigerian Army (and our Armed Forces) that used to be respected all over the African Region. How has our great Armed Forces suddenly turned into such impotence and inability to go into the brushes to flush out neutralize these bloodthirsty elements.
I honestly cannot fathom all these happening in my great country except there is some unexplained collusion, and the deliberate looking of the other way (and I sincerely pray this is not the case).
Miss Williams is gone, lost to a nation in need of her brightest and best. Her parents are heartbroken; her friends and colleagues in deep shock; her killers are out their still demanding and waiting to collect ransom from the surviving passengers from last week’s murderous and senseless kidnapping; and the Nigerian State moves on as it is business as usual to our Rulers.
Rest in peace sister! May this Government not leave this as their most remembered legacy.
Nollywood actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka popularly known as Baba Ijesha will be arraigned in court today, 16th of June, 2021.
The disgraced actor will be arraigned today for the first time at Magistrate Court 1, Yaba.
It would be recalled that the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) had proposed that the entertainer be prosecuted under 5 provisions of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State.
“After due consideration of the facts in the case file, the Directorate of Public Prosecutions issued legal advise on the 4th of May, 2021, which is to the effect that a prima facie case has been disclosed against Mr. Olanrewaju James and recommended he be charged under the following provisions of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015:” the commissioner of justice,
Moyosore Onigbanjo said in May.
“1. Section 135 – Indecent treatment of a child – punishable by 7 years imprisonment, 2. Section 137 – Defilement of a child – punishable by life imprisonment, 3. Section 261 – Sexual Assault by Penetration – punishable by life imprisonment, 4. Section 262 – Attempted Sexual Assault by Penetration – punishable by 14 years imprisonment and 5. Section 263 – Sexual assault – punishable by 3 years imprisonment.”
Popular Nigerian dancer, Denrele Edun has revealed that he once had an affair with a man and it was the worst decision he took in his entire life.
The television host disclosed this during an interview with Chude Jideonwo, where he talked about the journey of his life and how he has thrived in his relationships.
According to Denrele, the ordeal was the most terrible in his life. He said the man was very brutal and disrespectful to him all through the period they saw each other.

”I have not been in too many relationships which is why I am always very skeptical about getting into them. So one day I said to myself, maybe the girls do not have anything to offer me and then I had quite a bit of male attention, so I said let me just give somebody a chance. That was the worse decision of my life.

A male staff of the Nigerian embassy in Atlanta, US has been captured exchanging insults with Nigerians who flew into the city to renew their passports.
One of the Nigerians who wanted to apply shared a video of the heated encounter on social media.
In the video, the applicants were seen exchanging abuses with the embassy staff who is named Pius after he was alleged to have shown up late to work and still didn’t feel remorse.
Many of the applicants flew into Atlanta from different states in the country to renew their passport after applying online and making payments.
Sharing the video, one of the applicants wrote; ”This was the scene at the Nigerian Embassy in Atlanta this morning June 11th 2021.
“Myself and some other Nigerians living here had come to renew our passport after going through the rigorous process of online application and extra payments of $130 just because you want to capture. This man who’s name they said is Pius who was late to work at the embassy was seen hauling insults at people that have traveled from different states to get their passport done.”
It is so embarrassing when we as a people can’t respect and love ourselves as Nigerians but we always choose to oppress ourselves with the little space and position we have been obliged to serve. I want to call on the @nigeriagovernment and the honorable Minister @raufaregbesola to look into this man who’s attitude is said to be consistently bad.”

It was a joyful moment for the Nigerian latest couple, Abdulmumin Suleiman and Hauwa Suleiman Bello as they got married seven years after they met on Facebook.
The Kano-based groom revealed on his Facebook page how he met his young wife, Hauwa, sharing the interesting story with the present public.
According to Abdulmumin, on the 22nd of February, 2014, he sent her a message asking why she hasn’t accepted his friend request after she had refused to for some days.
He wrote;
“Shey you don’t want to accept my friend request me. Did I offend u me?”

Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky has complained taken to social media to reveal his bitter experience as he undergoes the butt lift surgery.

Rev. Chris Okotie, the Shepherd Superintendent of the Household of God Church, on Tuesday morning released a statement on his Facebook page in which he referenced certain ”wizard of Endor” who assumed the title of ”Emmanuel”.
The clergyman in his post disclosed the wizard who assumed the title of Emmanuel had been consumed by divine indignation.
His post came days after a clergyman, T.B Joshua, who was known for making use of the name ”Emmanuel” in his church, died.
Okotie further reviewed that the day of God’s vengeance has fully come to Nigeria though it wasn’t clear who he was directly referencing in his post.
He wrote;
