The Tesla and SpaceX Entrepreneur, Elon Musk has taken over from Amazon boos to become the world’s richest man with worth of $185bn.

Elon musk who is now the world’s richest reached the top slot after Tesla’s share price increased on Thursday.

He overturned Jeff Bezos whose net worth is $184bn and had held the top spot since 2017.

Mr Musk’s electric car company Tesla has appreciated in value this year, and hit a market value of $700bn (£516bn) for the first time on Wednesday.
