Etomi attended Corona School in Victoria Island, Lagos. In school, she joined a drama club at the age of seven.
Thereafter, she attended Queen’s College Lagos before moving to the United Kingdom at the age of 13. Etomi obtained a Diploma in Physical theatre from City College Coventry in 2004.

She started acting at the age of 7, she was part of a drama group in her primary school ”Corona School Lagos.
