Unilorin security personnel detains a student for putting on a nose ring

The security personnel of the University of Ilorin (Unilorin) has detained a female student, Omotanwa for entering the school campus with a nose ring.

She took to Twitter to narrate how she was forceful made to remove her nose ring and pack her hair by the school’s security personnel.

She wrote; “Nose ring gone hair packed…. and I’m in security unit”.

The incident has left social media users divided as some defended her, while others stated that she acted against the school’s rules.
