Nigerian actor, Olaiya Igwe has recounted how the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his wife saved his life when he was sick.
He disclosed all his medical bills were paid by the duo to save his life. when he has nephrolithiasis disease also known as kidney stone.
Olaiya Igwe is one of the Nollywood actors that is campaigning for Tinubu and receiving a lot of backlash on social media. Olaiya Igwe in a clip titled, My Asiwaju story, says Tinubu save his life without even knowing him.
In a video interpreted by hAmeboOnline.com, he said:
When I was sick, I was examined and told there is are stones in my Kidney, I started thinking is time for me to die, one of my colleagues, Ajala Jalingo called me that he have received calls from Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his wife that I should goto to Lagos State teaching hospital In Ikeja to go and meet the chief medical director and promise to pay all my medical bills.
He and his wife save me from sudden death.
Olaiya Igwe further said, what he notice in Tinbu and his wife is, that they cherish health and education, and such a person will be a good leader.
