Speaking at Murphy Afolabi’s candlelight service, Ikeduba emotionally revealed how Afolabi played a pivotal role in shaping his journey to stardom.
The candlelight service, held to honour and remember the life of the renowned actor Murphy Afolabi, brought together friends, family, and colleagues from the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Taking the stage to share his personal story, Kevin Ikeduba, known for his captivating performances on screen, delivered a heartfelt speech. He emotionally revealed that Murphy’s death was a sad one for him because Murphy helped him become who he is today.
According to him, God used Murphy Afolabi to bring out his glory.
“His death is a very very sad one to me especially. I want to say something today for the record. The Kelvin Ikeduba you all know today, God used the late Murphy Afolabi to bring my Glory out”.
