A young Nigerian lady, Alexandria Ijeoma Nzoka, has revealed she rejected a marriage proposal because she was unemployed.
The female lawyer said her boyfriend at that time had extended hands of union to her but she rejected his proposal because she did not have a steady source of income.
According to her, the young man was comfortable with her being broke, but she didn’t want to be a financial burden.

However, the lady also disclosed that the man later cut off all ties with her as he could not see a future with her at the time he wanted.
The tweet reads:
“I rejected a marriage proposal because I did not have a stable source of income and even though the young man was cool with me not having a job, I refuse to be broke and marry someone.
My papa no go gree.
Las las the man stopped talking to me, I pray he invites me to his wedding.“.
