Fifteen-year-old Victor Olatunji, a Nigerian student at The International School Ibadan, has just become Africa’s Mathematics Champion.
In a highly competitive Cruxlearning Mathematics Contest, which saw over 10,000 students from 24 African countries participate, Victor emerged as the top contestant.
Olatunji has achieved an incredible feat by winning a university scholarship worth $5,000 in a highly competitive mathematics contest.
The event was specifically created to promote the subject and recognize exceptional students’ brilliance, and Victor’s outstanding performance put him ahead of over 10,000 participants from 24 African countries.
After passing a rigorous qualifying exam, Victor advanced to the final stage, where he competed in a reality TV quiz show with 17 other top contestants.
His exceptional mathematical skills, as well as his impressive social skills, set him apart and helped him clinch the title of Africa’s Mathematics Champion. Victor’s achievement is truly remarkable and a testament to his dedication and talent.
